A motion study of a cat in heat, Ruth Hayes designed and animated this flipbook, using artwork created for her 1989 video Wanda (https://vimeo.com/26779562) that was inspired by her own cat's behavior. She rotoscoped the action from Super8 footage, creating two sequences that you can see while flipping from front to back, or back to front. Co-published with The Real Comet Press in 1990, this is the last flipbook that Ruth produced before focusing more on animating film and video.
